OUR TROOP
Who We Are
Troop 1865 is a boy/girl-led unit of dedicated scouts. We focus on developing leadership skills and strengthening character through a high adventure outdoor program tied to traditional Boy Scout values and a structured advancement program.
Weekly meeting day: Monday (August - June)
Meeting time: 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Location: St. George's Methodist Church
What We Do
We prepare scouts, for life. Core skills we focus on include the following:

Leadership - learn the qualities of positive leadership and is given the opportunity to exercise their skills in appropriate activities

Public speaking - practice the tips and techniques to be effective and confident public speakers

Preparedness - know the importance of being prepared for any event, task, or situation that may arise

Goal setting - understand the importance of an "end goal" that allows for maximum life effectiveness

Service - give back to their community and help on monthly service projects
