KEY DOCUMENTS
Troop Leadership (posted October 2018)
Troop Officers serve for the next 6 months as members of our Patrol Leaders’ Council (PLC) and include: Senior Patrol Leader (SPL), Assistant Senior Patrol Leader (ASPL), leaders for all of our Patrols, as well as staff officers, such as Quartermaster (QM), Scribe, Historian, Chaplain’s Aide and Webmaster. To view the document for a complete list of jobs. If you are interested, then fill out the leadership application and submit to the Scoutmaster.
Leadership within the troop is both a great opportunity and a great responsibility. A lot will be expected of our leaders but scouts shouldn’t let a lack of leadership experience prevent them from running. There is room for everyone to learn and grow on the PLC! Here are a few things to consider:
-
Leaders have to be present to lead.
-
Leaders want to serve and want their voices heard.
-
Leaders are always learning.
